What is ADHA? it stands for American Dental Hygienists Association. Its the biggest professional organization that is representing the interest of dental hygienist. What is a dental hygienist? Well, dental hygienists are licensed oral health professionals and their job is to prevent and treat oral diseases. Something about ADHA Is the largest professional organization representing the interests of dental hygienists. The American Dental Hygienists Association, aka ADHA, has a role to establish and develop mutual cooperation and communication with dental hygienists. It’s formed in 1923. ADHA is representing the professional interests of more than 150.000 dental hygienists in the United States of America. The mission of American Dental Hygienists’ Association, aka ADHA, is to improve the public’s health, to establish an access to high quality oral care, licensure, research and practice, promoting the dental hygienists interests and reaching trough the people for the awareness of the benefits of prevention.
